At Rum River Workshop, diverse traditional disciplines and modern techniques collide to create an epic blend of functionality and art. With a background in the trades and special interest in metal fabrication, we set out on a cross-country journey to learn, refine, and revitalize the near-lost art of bead rolling. 

Each piece is handcrafted with precision, implementing a unique style and intricate techniques to strengthen and shape the metal using a bead roller. Incorporating only premier metal and wood materials that are made to last – these timeless art pieces are truly one-of-a-kind. With a passion to continue the craft of bead rolling for generations to come, we teach others through live demos and classes. 

As a small, family-owned Minnesota business, Rum River Workshop is proud to have our art showcased at MSRA “Back to the Fifties”, in Hot Rod magazine, and as the designer and artist behind the 2024 “Best of Minnesota” State Fair awards.
